I am now in Shang-hai!!
I am here for my exhibition which is at Beijing Art Now Gallery Shanghai,and also for the Shu Uemura christmas collection's press event.
I love shang-hai!!
this is my 5th visit and each time I find that I love here more.
the exhibition is from 17th Oct to 30th Nov.

Hi! How are you all?
You might know but for this christmas, I am collaborating with Shu Uemura. It is one of the Shu's artist collaboration series and it's just fabulous!!
I am coming to Taiwan for this Shu's PR event, and It will be held at SOGO Zhung-Xiao Event Venue in SOGO department on 12 Sep.
Can not wait for going to Taiwan!!

It seems that it has been a quite while from the last diary...
how are you people?
Since the last diary, I was traveling to Hawaii, Thailand, Croatia and again Hawaii.... of course for shooting.
and, some may know, I had a baby last December!
He is always with me so I reckon he is the most flying baby in Japan.
What happening in the rest year is..
I am having the biggest ever solo exhibition at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery(http://www.operacity.jp/en/ag/) from 1st Nov-28rh Dec.
You also can see the same exhibition at some other museums in Japan.
and I might have some exhibitions in Italy and Shang-Hai,
and I am collaborating with the cosmetic brand Shu Uemura for its holiday collection 2008 so
you can get the lovely items for this Christmas!!
By the way. Sakuran was featured at Arts&Listening page in New York Times,
and The New York Sun（http://www.nysun.com/arts/japan-cuts-far-out-in-the-far-east/81094/）.
Have you seen Sakuran yet?

Hello! It's Mika Ninagawa.
Thank you for having a look at my website.
My web diary has only been in Japanese, but now it is in English too!!
It will be updated once in a while so if you have a time, pls take a look!
Talking about myself, This year was really, really busy.
I had a little time to sleep coz My first film "SAKURAN" was on the screen in Febraury in Japan.
And then overseas, It was recently shown in Germany.
I am not really sure though it may still be on the screen in Korea & Taiwan.
Have you all seen it? If so, I hope you love it!
Also I published several books this year... I accomplished a lot !!
Coming next is My 'flower' pictures which will be displayed in CELINE stores all over the world!
Which is starting from November.
And next Febraury, I will join the "JAPAN! CULTURE+HYPER CULTURE" at the JFK center in Wasington D.C.
If you have a chance to come to Japan, There will be a big exhibition of my art works in Omotesando hills in Harajyuku.
It would be great if you can come and see it!
Well, did I advertise too much? hope not...
Anyway, I will update regularly this web dialy.
